Visits and Tours
Day and weekend visits are organised to castles and country houses, including many not usually open to the public, to towns and villages, and archaeological, industrial and other sites. Informal in nature, the outings are both social and informative.

Talks, Lectures and Conferences
Throughout the winter and spring, illustrated talks and lectures on architectural and closely related subjects by experts in their fields are organised by the regional groups. The Society also organises an annual conference with a specific theme in the autumn, and additional smaller local conferences and seminars.

Social Events
Social events (or parties!) are held regularly by the various groups. An unusual location is often found, and a tour of the building interiors or gardens can add to the enjoyment of very pleasant gatherings.
