Kirkside House is an early 19th century country house, two-storey and basement, situated on an elevated position overlooking the sea on the outskirts of St Cyrus. A new North West wing by Sir Robert S Lorimer added 1913.

We will also visit nearby Kirktonhill Tower, Marykirk. Built as a folly or picnic house in the gothic revival style in the early 1800s, it has been extensively restored over the past few years.
