Author John D.O. Fulton discusses his recent book about 66 Queen Street in Edinburgh’s New Town, which tells the story of the people and events associated with the house over the course of 210 years. The diverse characters, whose lives were empowered by the Scottish Enlightenment, range from heroes to villains and from people of conscience to subjects of tabloid scandal and moral prurience.

If this is your first time using Zoom, we recommend downloading Zoom in advance of the meeting. If using a mobile phone or tablet you can download Zoom from the app store.

  • Open the browser of your choice on your Mac or PC and head to the Zoom website, download by clicking or tapping on the “Zoom Client for Meetings”. Once downloaded, open and create your account.
  • You can then join a meeting at the top of the screen. To join our lectures, you will be emailed the Meeting ID and passcode in advance of the talk.
