SOLD OUT: A Meander Around Morningside

SOLD OUT: A Meander Around Morningside

Venue: Meet at 6pm at the south-east corner of Greenhill Gardens (No.5 Bus Route)
Time: 6.00pm
Cost: £8

In the course of this walking tour, Simon Green explores the rich variety of architecture that this most genteel of suburbs has to offer. All periods from the eighteenth to the twenty-first centuries are represented here, including Scotland’s best ‘Sweetness and Light’ enclave and Sir Robert Lorimer’s finest church. Comprising only a tiny cluster of cottages in the mid-19th century, the area grew with alacrity, with a variety and density of architectural styles that make it distinct from its neighbours.

SORRY, SOLD OUT.
