AGM Forth & Borders 2023

This year’s AGM is being held at the Magdalen Chapel, an A-listed sixteenth century building on the Cowgate, renowned for housing the only intact pre-Reformation stained glass panels in Scotland.  The AGM is followed by a talk exploring the history of the Chapel, from its foundation as a combined chapel and hospital by burgess and silk merchant Michael Macquhane, through the turbulent days of the Reformation and the Covenanting period, to its sale in 1858 to the Scottish Reformation Society.
