Photographer Margaret Elliot will discuss in this lecture the career and buildings by the architect Walter Newall, who is well known for the striking sandstone buildings characteristic of Dumfries. Including one of his most talked about buildings at the moment, Moat Brae soon to become a National centre for for children’s literature and storytelling.
