North East Group AGM and Ardmeallie House Visit

with fine walled knot garden
Visit to Ardmeallie House, Aberchirder.
Ardmeallie House (c.1750 with additions by A Marshall Mackenzie 1900) is a Category B Listed, 2-storey, 5-bay lairds house with raised basement and piended roof. Examples of original cornices and fireplaces are still in situ. The Burnett-Stuart family has lived there since the 1920s and it is with the kind permission of Mrs Mary Burnett Stuart that we are able to visit.
