Dating from the 1200s, the house includes an intriguing trapezoid courtyard plan, and boasts a grand classical bridge and a gate flanked by aristocratic Greek Revival temples. In 2010 the present Viscount commenced the first full-scale renovation of Arbuthnott House in over 250 years.
