The See-Through House

The See-Through House

We are delighted to have Shelley Klein discussing with Colin McLean and Simon Green
her book about living in the modernist house designed by Peter Womersley.

Time: Talk starts at 6.30pm prompt – you’ll be able to join from 6.15pm
Venue: Online
Booking: Tickets must be booked in advance on the Eventbrite website. Tickets are not priced but we do suggest a donation of £6 (free for students).

Join Shelley Klein in conversation with photographer Colin McLean and architectural historian Simon Green as she discusses her recently published book, The See-Through House. The book is based on life in High Sunderland, her family home in the Borders, designed in 1957 on an open-plan grid with colourful glass panels by modernist architect Peter Womersley for Shelley’s father, textile designer Bernat Klein.
