Cairnbulg Castle near Fraserburgh was built in the 1370s and extended in the 1540s. After passing through different owners, Cairnbulg fell into ruin in the early 19th century.

After restoration, in 1934, the Frasers bought Cairnbulg back after just over 300 years and it remains the family home of Lady Saltoun, Chief of the Clan Fraser.

Please note that Cairnbulg Castle is not suitable for those with mobility issues.
