F&B Summer Party: A CRUISE ON BOARD THE LOCHRIN BELLE ALONG THE UNION CANAL

Thurs 11 June, 6-8pm | Join us for the Forth & Borders Summer Party on the Union Canal

Thursday 11th June 2026, 6.00 – 8.00pm

We will travel from Fountainbridge to Slateford and back. An opportunity to view the city in a relaxed atmosphere at a gentle pace, with architectural highlights pointed out throughout the journey. Guests are encouraged to bring canapes as usual. Please note that licensing regulation prevent us from serving alcohol, but guests are welcome to bring their own.

Tickets for the party cost £15 each (Pre-book only).

Meet before 6pm at Edinburgh Quay Two, next to Boroughmuir High School, Bainfield Drive, Edinburgh EH11 1FL.   The canal can be accessed via steps or a ramp next to Boroughmuir High School from the road called ‘Viewforth’, or via Gibson Terrace and Bainfield Drive. The nearest postcode is EH11 1FL or what3words location is ///scary.local.navy

Bus
Lothian Bus Numbers 10 and 27 take you to Gilmore Place. Get off at the Viewforth bus stop and walk along Viewforth (road), over the bridge where there are steps or a ramp in front of Boroughmuir High School down to the canal, where the boat will be moored.  Lothian Bus Numbers 1, 34 and 35 take you to the Fountain Park food and entertainment complex at the Dundee Street bus stop. You can reach the boat via Viewforth (road) which runs alongside Boroughmuir High School or via Gibson Terrace, which is next to Sainsbury’s Local.
