The Changing Face of Princes Street (**SORRY, SOLD OUT**)

Mathew Reilly of HES leads this walking tour of Edinburgh’s most famous street. Part of the First New Town, Princes Street has seen generations of change, from grand Georgian townhouses to Victorian hotels, insurance company headquarters, department stores and post-war Panel buildings. Starting at Binns and ending at the Balmoral, we will stop to consider some of the street’s most altered buildings, including Art Deco designs, façade retentions and Modernist blocks.
